বাংলা অনুবাদ: 26 শে মার্চ বাংলাদেশের স্বাধীনতা দিবস। এটা বাংলাদেশের ইতিহাসের একটি রক্তঝরা দিন। আমরা সে সব শহীদদের স্মৃতির উদ্দেশ্যে শ্রদ্ধা জানাই, যারা এদেশের মুক্তির জন্য জীবন উৎসর্গ করেছিলেন। 1971 সালের এই দিনে বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানের পক্ষে মেজর জিয়াউর রহমান কর্তৃক আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে স্বাধীনতা ঘোষিত হয়। প্রতিবছর আমাদের শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানে এই দিনটি জাঁকজমকের সাথে পালিত হয়। সব শিক্ষার্থী এর প্রতিটি অনুষ্ঠানের সহায়তা ও অংশগ্রহণ করে। আমাদের শিক্ষকরাও এর সব আয়োজন আমাদের আন্তরিক ভাবে সহায়তা ও নির্দেশনা দেয়। এই দিনে কলেজের প্রতিটি অংশ সবুজ পাতা, ফেস্টুন ও রঙিন কাগজে সাজানো হয়। অতিথি শিক্ষক ও শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য বসার ব্যবস্থা করা হয়। পূর্বেই অনুষ্ঠানসূচি নির্ধারণ করা হয়। সাধারণত জাতীয় পতাকা উত্তোলন ও জাতীয় সংগীত গেয়ে অনুষ্ঠান শুরু হয়। এর পরপরই কুচকাওয়াজ অনুষ্ঠিত হয় এবং আমাদের প্রতিষ্ঠানের অধ্যক্ষ সালাম গ্রহণ করেন। এরপর একটি আলোচনা সভা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। শিক্ষকগণ ও ছাত্ররা উভয়েই এই আলোচনায় অংশ নেন। স্থানীয় মুক্তিযোদ্ধারা স্বাধীনতা যুদ্ধে তাদের স্মৃতি স্মরণ করে বক্তব্য দেন। স্বাধীনতা দিবস আমাদের মধ্যে একতা বদানে এবং সম্মিলিত প্রচেষ্টায় দেশ গঠনে আমাদের উদ্বুদ্ধ করে।
